Job summary

Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, you will lead a team across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, ensuring Hyatt brand standards.

The role requires proactive leadership, strong financial controls, and the ability to drive productivity and continuous improvement using

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel or related experience; or a 2-year college degree with 3 years of related experience; or a 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience managing housekeeping operations, laundry production, inventory, purchasing, and labor productivity.
• Familiarity with Hyatt systems, HotSOS, Heat Map, HySat, Hotel Effectiveness, 12‑Point Inspections, or comparable hospitality tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily Housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces meet Hyatt and Avion standards.
• Lead and conduct 12-Point Room Inspections, ensuring cleanliness and quality.
• Oversee laundry operations, inventory, and cost controls.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop Housekeeping Supervisors and staff.
• Partner with Front Office, Engineering, and third‑party vendors to ensure timely room readiness and staffing.
