Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel El Paso Downtown is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to support hotel operations. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems within a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include rapid response to service calls, completing work orders, and maintaining essential facilities such as pools, lighting, and HVAC systems. Strong communication and physical capabilities are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel engineering across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within minutes, prioritize urgent issues.
• Complete work orders accurately and inform supervisor of delays.
• Maintain pools, filters, and pumps daily.
• Adjust televisions and program boxes as needed.
• Replace light bulbs and ballasts promptly.
• Replace HVAC air filters on a regular basis.
• Repair vacuum cleaners and return them to service within 2 days.
• Clean grounds, garages and parking areas.
