Shaner Hotels is seeking an Engineering leader to oversee the maintenance, operation and repair of all HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems across properties. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, safety, budgeting, and staff supervision in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; college degree or vocational training a plus.
• Experience supervising Engineering staff is preferred.
• Knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the Engineering department including operation, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor a maintenance program to ensure safety, security and comfort of staff and guests.
• Supervise, train and manage all Engineering staff.
