Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking a Chief Engineer/Engineering Supervisor in Napa, CA to lead engineering operations across the property. You will supervise staff, manage maintenance programs, and ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

Candidate should have 5+ years in facilities management, with budgeting experience and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and energy management systems. This role requires a proactive leader in a demanding hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
• Five+ years hotel/building maintenance/facilities management experience with one year as Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor.
• Ability to manage staff, mentor teams and achieve guest satisfaction.
• Experience with budgets, financial forecasts and reports.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Engineering staff and maintain property to exceed guest expectations and standards.
• Manage maintenance program and contracts for structure, grounds and equipment.
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance and use of PPE; monitor emergency systems.
• Control expenses, assist Director with budgeting and inventory; analyze reports to maximize profitability.
• Monitor engineering systems; ensure staffing aligns with business needs and holidays.
