Agate Beach Inn in Newport, Oregon, is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the operation and maintenance of the hotel's exterior and interior facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and grounds. This hands-on role requires ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards while managing preventative maintenance and repairs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, hospitality experience, and the ability to work independently.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years related experience.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Basic repair and maintenance skills including carpentry, grouting, painting, caulking and blueprint reading.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Mansioni

• Maintain the entire hotel facility including building, grounds, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Preventative maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and general upkeep of FF&E, grounds, pool, etc.
