Shaner Hotels in Hershey, Pennsylvania, seeks a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to manage all engineering operations across two premier Hershey-area properties: Courtyard by Marriott Hershey Chocolate Avenue and Hampton Inn & Suites Hershey Near the Park.

You will lead maintenance programs, supervise staff, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience as a hotel maintenance engineer.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management and co-workers.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Engineering department, including operation, maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Develop and monitor a maintenance program to ensure safety, security and comfort for staff and guests.
• Supervise, train and manage Engineering staff; delegate daily work and review priorities.
• Maintain the department's annual budget and ensure compliance with safety codes and inspections.
• Perform emergency repairs and handle chemical usage in accordance with hotel requirements.
