Qualifications

• Education: Four year college degree or equivalent experience, preferably in hotel accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in hotel accounting and asset controls.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the Accounting Operations to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Assist Director of Finance in controlling income, expenses and assets.
• Supervise Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashier and Night Audit staff and conduct reviews.
• Ensure daily accounting operations comply with SOPs and laws.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Assist in budget, forecasts, taxes and other financial reports.
• Train and coordinate implementation of financial controls across departments.
• Resolve problems and maintain accounting systems and equipment.
