Job summary

HMH in Houston, TX is seeking a Welder III for the 2nd shift to perform advanced welding, cladding, and repair operations using Hot Wire TIG. Set up, operate, troubleshoot welding systems, and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and engineering drawings.

You will review blueprints, monitor parameters, perform preheat/interpass temperature control, and maintain weld traceability. The role serves as a technical resource and may mentor others while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced Hot Wire TIG welding, cladding, overlay, and repair operations per WPS and drawings.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Hot Wire TIG equipment and automated welding systems.
• Review blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, BOMs, and technical specs to determine welding requirements.
• Monitor welding parameters and inspect welds to ensure conformance to specs and quality standards.
