Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Hosting Enterprise Architect to design, manage, and support enterprise server and infrastructure solutions that are secure, scalable, and highly available in Dallas, TX onsite one day per week.

You will define architectural standards across physical, virtual, and cloud environments, and lead collaboration across IT and business teams to support disaster recovery, storage, and performance optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years IT experience with emphasis on server engineering or infrastructure architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux, and AIX.
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware.
• Strong networking fundamentals and enterprise storage knowledge.
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Designs and maintains enterprise infrastructure architectures, including virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and data center environments.
• Leads performance analysis, capacity planning, and availability assessments to support business continuity and growth.
• Maintains a portfolio roadmap aligned with clinical, operational, and IT objectives.
• Implements infrastructure security best practices and ensures compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Collaborates with network, storage, database, application, and business teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Develops and maintains architectural diagrams, system documentation, and operational standards.
• Promotes consistency and operational efficiency across the Enterprise Platforms organization, including leading concept definition, strategy, design, deployment, and ongoing process management.
• Leads the design and deployment of large-scale systems, including disaster recovery, storage, power, and operating system and software configurations.
• Serves as a subject matter expert across multiple technical domains, including virtualization, automation, system security, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.
• Leads technical aspects of infrastructure projects, communicates progress and risks, and coordinates with stakeholders.
