Job summary

St. Joseph Hospital of Orange, part of Providence, seeks a Security Officer II to perform security functions and assist in organizing and controlling security staff when the Supervisor is unavailable.

This role conducts follow-up investigations on policy violations, assists in training security personnel, and ensures critical response procedures are executed, with audits of reports, shift schedules, logs, and inventory at shift end.

Qualifications

• California Security Guard Registration upon hire.
• 2 years' Security or dispatch experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform the same security functions as Security Officer II and assist in organizing daily activities of security personnel when the Supervisor is not available.
• Conduct follow-up investigations on violations of hospital policies, rules and regulations.
• Assist in training activities of security personnel.
• Ensure critical response procedures are executed as prescribed (fire drills, critical response exercises, etc.).
• Audit reports, shift schedules, activity logs, battery inventory, post checks, and collect post orders at shift end.
