Job summary

A healthcare organization in Paterson, NJ, seeks a dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of visitors, patients, and staff at St. Joseph's University Medical Center. Responsibilities include managing security operations during shifts and training new officers. Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma and prior experience, preferably in Military or Police. A valid driver’s license is required. This position is full-time, primarily during night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous work-related experience; Military or Police experience preferred.

Covers all posts and duties as required. Provides in-service and training to existing and new security officers. Reviews paperwork for completeness and accuracy.

Qualifications

Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and one to three years of previous work related experience (Military or Police experience preferred). Valid driver’s license with no pending violations and an acceptable driving record as stipulated by SJH policy and, if applicable, the SJH insurance carrier, for those required to drive a hospital vehicle.
