You will oversee security staff, coordinate with external agencies, and respond to emergencies and alarms while maintaining safety and privacy for patients, staff, and visitors. The role requires NYS Security License, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent; College preferred.
• NYS Security License.
• Valid NYS driver’s license.
• AED or BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Healthcare Security Experience, Active or retired law enforcement, or Military experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Provides operational leadership for daily security operations.
• Inspects officers for proper uniform and post readiness.
• Writes and submits security incidents reports.
• Maintains security presence across hospital and campus areas.
• Patrols building and property; reports fire safety issues and checks alarms.
• Investigates security/safety incidents.
• Responds to hospital codes and emergencies.
• Manages access control systems and badge production.
• Monitors CCTV, alarms and panic systems.
• Supervises and trains security staff on protocols.
