Hillsboro Medical Center in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Operating Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot hospital plant systems on assigned shifts.

You will train newer engineers, operate steam plant equipment and HVAC systems, and ensure documentation is completed. A valid Oregon LME license and a high school diploma or GED are preferred, with long-term driving eligibility and willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Oregon LME license required or pursued with time-bound goal.
• 10+ years hospital operating engineer experience or 5+ years with LME (pre-2020).
• 5+ years operating engineer in a hospital or similar facility (post-2020).
• Valid driver's license for at least four years and driving record requirements.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate steam plant equipment and HVAC systems.
• Submit required logs and reports.
• Assist in training engineers on procedures and emergency response.
• Follow policies during disasters or emergencies.
