Qualifications

• Educational background normally equivalent to high school with course work in skilled crafts.
• Four years of broad based experience in changing refrigeration appliances, compressors, valves and adjusting controls; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and/or replace HVAC systems and equipment in hospital, medical or research facilities.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance and test systems for conformance with codes and standards.
• Complete required documentation including work orders, inventories and maintenance forms; use computer software for maintenance activities.
