Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, part of Mission Health and an operating division of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Lead Environmental Services Coordinator. You will oversee Environmental Services operations across hospital areas, ensuring sanitary, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environments for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include evaluating systems, coordinating activities, supporting leadership, and generating reports to optimize bed management turnaround and resource use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in food services or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital and health care operations preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital and health care financial metrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates existing systems and processes, initiates changes and improvements, and makes suggestions to Manager.
• Coordinates the effective operation of Environmental Services activities to provide an aseptic and aesthetically pleasing environment.
• Supports department leadership to achieve daily operations across patient and non-patient areas.
• Prepares department records and recurring/special reports and analyses as required.
• Enforces department productivity to meet goals and maximize efficiency and cost control.
