Qualifications

• One year of custodial/housekeeping or environmental services experience in a nursing home, hospital or similar setting; OR eighteen (18) months proven work experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and infection control expectations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex custodial work including cleaning and sanitizing hospital buildings and treatment units.
• Restock supplies and provide backup to other custodians as needed.
• Inspect buildings and equipment; coordinate with supervisor on safety and maintenance.
• Support disaster response, COOP activation, or alternate shift requirements as needed.
