Bay Area Hospital is seeking an experienced Accountant IV to maintain financial records, ensure accurate journal entries, and reconcile general and subsidiary ledgers. You will support month-end closes, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires a BS in accounting or related field, 10+ years of accounting experience (hospital setting preferred), and advanced Excel skills.

Qualificações

• BS in Accounting, Business Administration, or related; Associate’s degree with 5 years accounting experience accepted
• Advanced degree or CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, hospital setting preferred

Responsabilidades

• Prepares month-end close journal entries
• Assists Controller with month-end close processes
• Reviews journal entries for accuracy and documentation
• Reconciles general ledger and subsidiary ledgers monthly
• Prepares formal account reconciliations for cash, investments, liabilities
• Assists Controller with external audit coordination
