Job summary

TSMC Arizona is hiring a Senior Hookup System Engineer to lead installation planning and execution for process piping, mechanical, and electrical systems on semiconductor FAB projects. You will drive quality, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, and troubleshoot complex installation challenges at our Phoenix facility.

The role requires strong communication, autonomy, and travel flexibility to support global sites, with emphasis on safety, standards, and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering or construction project experience.
• Proven experience managing engineering responsibilities and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation procedures for process piping, mechanical, and/or electrical systems, ensuring quality and timelines.
• Verify installations through site inspections and resolve discrepancies with specifications.
• Oversee technical challenges and develop innovative solutions for project success.
• Coordinate with project managers, schedulers, CAD designers, tool owners, and contractors.
• Provide technical leadership to contractors for high-quality installations.
• Identify opportunities to improve construction processes and efficiency.
