Job summary

TSMC Arizona seeks a Hookup Construction Engineer II to lead a technical team in planning, coordinating, and executing utility hook-up activities for semiconductor projects at FAB21 in Phoenix. You will supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and coordination across cross-functional groups to meet project milestones in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 3+ years in semiconductor/industrial setting; 2+ years in construction leadership/supervisory role.
• Experience in complex, fast-paced construction projects (semiconductor or cleanroom preferred).
• Ability to lead diverse teams in high-volume, high-precision environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and day-to-day direction to a team of engineers, technicians, or contractors.
• Coordinate hook-up construction activities for MEP, high-purity, and process utility systems.
• Review and interpret engineering documents, layouts, and schematics for tool hook-up and facility infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Tool Install, Quality, ESH, and Contractors to resolve issues and maintain alignment.
• Lead walk-downs, punch list closeouts, and handover readiness assessments.
