Job summary

Aging Best in Missouri is seeking a Driver to split time between meal delivery and client transportation, serving a homebound senior population. The role requires adhering to established routes, reporting client concerns, and supporting management in care delivery.

Daily tasks include route printing, loading meals, vehicle maintenance, logs, and travel within the designated area. A high school diploma, MO Chauffeur's license, and 1 year delivery experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Missouri Chauffer's Driver License and proof of insurance.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on delivery experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Print daily route sheets and input meal counts into Aging IS daily.
• Assist in pulling and loading meals for delivery.
• Transport meals to homebound seniors.
• Transport clients to appointments as needed.
• Report problems with delivery or changes in client status.
• Maintain accurate daily log of meal deliveries and collections.
• Assist scheduling to minimize time and distance between deliveries.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good operating condition.
• Oversee the vehicle and report defects.
• Ensure vehicle registrations, insurance are up to date.
• Update gasoline and mileage records daily.
• Return vehicles to designated parking area daily.
