Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Home Visitor III for the Early Head Start North Hollywood program. The role requires on-site weekly home visits to families with infants/toddlers, focusing on developmentally appropriate activities and family partnerships.

Candidates must pass fingerprint clearance and have reliable transportation. The position supports health, nutrition, and mental health services, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with Head Start resources to foster family involvement and child

Qualifications

Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check
Must have access to reliable transportation or own vehicle with adequate insurance
BA in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or related field; 24 CD units incl. infant/toddler requirements
Experience working with infants/toddlers preferred

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of families and conduct weekly home visits
Identify challenges and needs with families and develop developmentally appropriate activities
Document monthly reports and maintain children's records
Coordinate with health, nutrition, and social services to support child/family needs
Act as liaison between community resources and Head Start families
Ensure on-site service delivery for all assigned visits
