Sage Haus seeks a seasoned House Manager & Family Assistant to support a busy Santa Monica family. This part-time role (20–30 hrs/wk) focuses on household operations, light childcare, travel prep, and dependable calendar management, with a warm, proactive approach.

You’ll coordinate vendors, supervise daily routines, manage grocery and errands, and maintain a healthy, organized home across two properties. Strong tech skills, pet experience, and discretion are essential to keeping family life

Qualifications

• Maintain a smoke-free environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Up-to-date vaccinations perAAP/CDC guidelines (incl. COVID-19 and influenza).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Tech-savvy—Google Suite incl. Calendar and household automation systems.
• Comfort and experience working with dogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable backup support for local school pickups and activity drop-offs.
• Light after-school supervision during afternoon hours as needed.
• Prepare backpacks, clothing, and snacks for school days.
• Coordinate playdates and kid-related logistics.
• Support weekly date night coverage, including babysitter backup.
• Engage with the children during supervision time, including homework support.
• Create and maintain functional household organization systems.
• Manage pantry, fridge, and household supplies; coordinate vendor needs.
