Job summary

Option Care Health seeks a Senior Infusion Nurse to provide expert infusion care in patients' homes or alternate infusion suites under a physician’s plan of care, with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team.

Active RN license in the relevant state is required, with CRNI certification and BSN preferred. At least 5 years of nursing experience, or 7 years with infusion experience, and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in state of practice.
• CRNI required; BSN and at least 5 years of nursing experience, or at least 7 years with 3 years infusion experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops and implements advanced nursing plans of treatment.
• Organizes direct patient care, performs treatments, administers medications, educates patients and families.
• Modifies plan of treatment with physician orders to meet goals.
• Assesses patient needs and status at each visit and documents care in real time.
• Mentors lower-level nurses and participates in process improvement and chart audits.
