Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of home health or hospice regulations, reimbursement and care requirements.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with staff, patients and managers.
• Ability to organize, plan and delegate work effectively.
• Ability to resolve conflict and motivate staff in a direct, professional manner.
• Ability to solve problems and make independent judgments based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes an environment conducive to quality patient care and ensures audits/action.
• Provides direction to staff with clear responsibility for resource coordination.
• Monitors staff productivity and corrects charting deficiencies impacting revenue cycle.
• Participates in staff orientation, coaching, and hiring decisions, including on-boarding.
• Coordinates 24-hour field staff availability and leads process improvement efforts.
• Ensures timely data cycle time for OASIS/Hospice Item Set and maintains relationships.
