Job summary

Reliance Test & Technology seeks a Senior HITL Engineer/Analyst to develop and integrate real-time HITL simulations for EO/IR/LASER seekers and sensors at Eglin AFB, FL. You will work independently, solve complex problems, and advise on HITL issues while supporting MATLAB/Simulink, C, and C++ based simulations.

The role requires a Master’s degree and a minimum of ten years of related experience, with Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• MS in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field; 10+ years experience (or BS with 13+ years) in HITL duties.
• Proficient in software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate HITL software for simulated weapons engagements with real-time requirements (>2000 Hz).
• Interface simulation software to weapon systems and test equipment including flight motion simulators and EO/IR/LASER target sensors.
• Lead HITL technical analysis, identify performance issues, and resolve complex problems.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, C and C++ to develop/modify simulations.
