UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT is seeking a Sr. Histotechnologist to perform accurate routine and advanced histology processing, including embedment, microtomy, mounting, staining, and labeling. The role supports the histology team with technical guidance and problem-solving.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in a science field with HTL certification, and experience with immunohistochemistry (QIHC) is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate science field with HTL certification.
• QIHC certification is preferred but not required.
• Three years of histology laboratory experience is expected.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and advanced histology processing including embedment, microtomy, mounting, staining and labeling.
• Offer guidance to Histotechnicians and Histotechnologists and support staff in routine technical areas.
