CHI St. Gabriel’s Health in Little Falls seeks an HIM Specialist to safeguard patient data across the records lifecycle. You will manage imaging, chart analysis, and MPI data integrity while supporting clinicians with timely, compliant access to records.

As an HIM Specialist, you will Serve as a critical guardian of patient data, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and availability of health records throughout their entire lifecycle. You will act as a subject matter expert within the department, supporting clinical providers and internal stakeholders while upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance and patient privacy.
Every day will See you managing complex workflows in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of medical records—from high-volume document imaging and technical chart analysis to resolving data discrepancies within the Master Patient Index. You will spend your day proactively identifying documentation gaps, collaborating with medical staff to ensure chart completion, and handling sensitive information requests with precision and confidentiality.
