Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking a Highway Project Engineer to join our Long Island operations in Melville, NY.

This role demands energy, a strong work ethic, and pride in delivering premier roadway and bridge solutions for local, state and national projects. As part of the team, you will apply engineering principles to roadways under senior guidance, develop drawings and cost estimates, and mentor junior staff.

Formación

• BSCE from an accredited university.
• New York State PE preferred.
• 8+ years of roadway design experience.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Open Roads Design and Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with MUTCD, AASHTO and NYSDOT standards.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Apply engineering principles to roadways under guidance of senior engineers.
• Develop drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Mentor and guide less experienced staff.
• Progress design details for roadways including pavement, ADA sidewalks, signing, drainage.
• Interface with Bridges/Signals and other disciplines.
