Job summary

HDR, a leading employee-owned engineering firm, seeks a Senior Highway Engineer – Team Lead in Charlotte, NC. You will guide production, mentor staff, manage projects, and coordinate with national and local teams to deliver transportation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Professional registration (PE) may be required based on role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations of the production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Function as Project Manager and assist with production on projects in addition to management responsibilities.
• Lead and coordinate services with other sections and coordinate marketing efforts.
• Ensure work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systems.
• Support company policy and mentor technical personnel.
