Job Description

Seeking a Senior Highway Transportation Engineer/Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Philadelphia, PA.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, and 401k!

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

1. Manage multidisciplinary projects with PennDOT District 6-0 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
2. Work across engineering disciplines including structural/bridge, traffic/ITS, stormwater management, utilities, and more, supporting highway design projects for PennDOT throughout Pennsylvania.
3. Support NJDOT and DelDOT projects as required.
4. Ensure project performance in terms of schedule, cost, and scope management, delivering on time and within budget.
5. Prepare supplements for scope and schedule changes due to unforeseen conditions.
6. Develop and implement project-specific quality management plans.
7. Prepare and submit progress reports and invoices as the Project Manager.
8. Mentor and develop staff members.

Qualifications:

• PA, NJ, and DE Professional Engineer License required.
• Experience in developing successful Statements of Interest (SOI) and proposals for PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and other transportation entities in the Philadelphia region.

• Knowledge of PADEP regulations and permitting processes.
• Active participation in professional associations such as ASCE, ASHE, PSPE, TRB, AASHTO, IBTTA, and others.
