Metro Associates seeks an experienced Highway Design Project Manager to lead complex transportation infrastructure projects across New York. You will guide highway and roadway design from preliminary design through PS&E, permitting, and construction support, collaborating with NYSDOT and local agencies.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams on corridor improvements and federally funded programs, delivering safe, resilient transportation solutions while managing scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs and MicroStation is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of highway transportation projects from scoping through final design and construction support.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and staffing to ensure successful project execution.
• Lead design strategy in collaboration with teams and clients to ensure alignment and seamless delivery.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, permitting requirements, and quality standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
