Creighton Manning Engineering, LLP in Albany and Poughkeepsie seeks a licensed Highway Engineer to lead highway design projects from start to finish, collaborating with traffic, structural, and construction inspection teams.

With 8+ years of highway design experience and a PE license, you will design roads, intersections, and trails, check calculations, prepare construction documents, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.
• 8+ years of highway or roadway design experience.
• Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoTurn.

Responsabilités

• Design roadways, trails, sidewalks, and intersections, including roundabouts and traffic signals.
• Check calculations and prepare construction contract documents.
• Coordinate with clients and multidiscipline teams, and present at project meetings.
• Prepare reports, estimates, and basic proposals.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and technicians.
