CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP (CLA) is hiring an Audit Director or Manager for its North Carolina Higher Education Assurance team. This in-office role can be based in Winston-Salem, Charlotte, or Raleigh, NC, and involves leading audit engagements for colleges, universities, and related entities.

You will plan engagements, supervise teams, and ensure high-quality service while developing staff and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• Strategic management experience in audit engagements.
• Active CPA license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control all phases of assurance engagements for higher education clients.
• Lead engagement teams and manage staffing, timing, and budgets.
• Develop and coach staff; review engagement letters and fees with clients.

Skills

6+ years of experience in large firm

Strategic management experience

CPA license or active CPA

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
