Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a senior fixed income professional to independently conduct research across securities, issuers, or sectors, with a focus on risk and return.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of bond math, yield curves, market regulations, and the ability to make buy/sell recommendations while building strong dealer relationships. Compensation includes a base salary, gainshare, and RSU participation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight years of relevant work experience
• OR a master's degree or higher, with at least six years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of fixed income, bond math, yield curve dynamics, accounting, corporate credit analysis, financial modeling, covenants, macro-economics and market regulations.
• Ability to independently conduct fixed income research; analysis may focus on individual securities, issuers or sectors.
• Knowledge and understanding to make buy/sell recommendations
• Strong relationship building skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with dealers and execute trades

Compensation

• Base: $200,000 - $240,000/year depending on position level and experience
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 80% of your eligible earnings based on company performance and experience level
• Participation in our restricted stock units plan
