Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous High Voltage experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Must mentor and train technicians.
• Experience leading a field service team.
• Willing to travel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious with cost-awareness.
• Proficient in MS Office, Teams and SmartSheets.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical direction to site personnel and customers.
• Prepare job planning documents with engineering instructions, drawings and process instructions.
• Provide leadership to skilled labor on customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance checkout on transformers, switchgear, relays, control systems and motors.
• Troubleshoot substations for wind and solar plants.
• Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and prepare job completion reports.
• Exercise good judgment to control costs.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset at all times.
