Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join the Networking Hardware Engineering (NHE) group in RTP, NC.

The role focuses on PCB design, high-speed SerDes validation, power delivery analysis, and rigorous signal integrity verification across campus and data center routing systems. You will collaborate with hardware, layout, and validation teams, perform SI simulations, and help bring up prototypes while contributing to documentation and test measurements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with high-speed SerDes technologies (PAM4 or NRZ) including simulation, bring-up, debugging, measurements, or optimization.
• Experience with electromagnetic or signal integrity simulation tools (2D/3D field solvers) such as Ansys HFSS, Cadence Clarity, Sigrity, Siemens Hyperlynx.

Aufgaben

• Assist in design and analysis of high-speed digital/analog systems from concept to production.
• Perform signal integrity simulations using industry-standard tools.
• Model and analyze power delivery networks to ensure integrity and reliability.
• Optimize pre- and post-route signal integrity analysis of PCBs.
• Support prototype bring-up and system-level validation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with hardware, layout, and validation teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to documentation and data analysis correlating simulations with lab measurements.
