Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent for a high-rise luxury residential project in Florida. You will oversee daily site activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage safety and quality, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities include directing field teams, developing startup and look-ahead schedules, reviewing drawings and specs, and reporting progress to the Project Manager. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of construction industry experience.
• Direct high-rise construction experience is required.
• Luxury condominium or high-rise residential construction experience is highly relevant.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage, and document daily construction site activities.
• Direct superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and field labor to ensure efficient execution.
• Develop the project startup schedule with the Project Manager and submit it for executive review.
• Review owner contracts, subcontracts, construction drawings, specifications, and addenda.
• Establish site procedures and coordinate construction sequencing, equipment, manpower, and material requirements.
• Manage site utilization, staging plans, excavation activities, field office setup, and site organization.
• Monitor field productivity and control labor and subcontractor costs.
• Communicate daily progress, issues, and performance updates to the Project Manager.
• Identify problems early and recommend cost-effective solutions.
