Job summary

The Cytometry and Cell Sorting Core at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Flow Cytometry Specialist to coordinate the high parameter cytometry unit, including imaging and spectral cytometers. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, chemical, biological, physical science or related field.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with flow cytometry and imaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize cytometry instruments for data acquisition and quality control.
• Provide instruction and guidance to laboratory personnel and core users on experiment setup, analysis, and sorting.
• Monitor instrument usage, reagent supply, and recording billing time.
• Develop educational materials and assist in organizing core educational events.
