Job summary

First Western Trust in Boulder, CO is seeking a Senior Loan Associate to support the credit and lending process for high-net-worth clients. You’ll coordinate loan documentation, manage pipeline activity, and assist with loan closings to ensure timely service and strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in banking or credit, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and an NMLS license. You’ll use CRM and MS Office, including advanced Excel, to optimize portfolio health and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years in banking, lending, or credit.
• NMLS required upon hire.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills.
• Experience with banking/credit software; CRM experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication focused on client service.
• Organize, prioritize, multitask, and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience serving high-net-worth individuals and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loan applications, approvals, and closings with related documentation.
• Serve as a client contact, delivering service aligned with segment standards.
• Oversee loan portfolio administration, renewals, extensions, and reviews.
• Manage construction loans including draw processes and inspections.
• Monitor past-due loans and covenant requirements for portfolio health.
• Assist with client onboarding, service requests, and cross-department collaboration.
