Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Lead Smart Instrumentation Administrator to oversee administration, configuration, and data integrity for Hexagon Smart Instrumentation across nuclear and complex facilities.

You will collaborate with I&C engineering, IT, and project teams to ensure high-quality instrumentation data, standards, and integration with related enterprise systems. Hybrid work options available after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience minimum; 8+ preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle for queries and data validation.
• Strong understanding of I&C workflows, data structures, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Smart Instrumentation.
• Maintain SI standards, reference data, plant structures, naming conventions, templates, and rule sets.
• Manage security, access, roles, and permissions, configure deliverable standards.
• Support project setup, execution, and lifecycle management with I&C engineering and delivery teams.
• Enable production of instrument indexes, datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, wiring reports, and SpF integration.
