MDB Group provides Technical, Operational, Force Development, Financial, and Acquisition Consulting Services to the Department of Defense. Full Job Description :

• Job Title : Senior Helicopter Acquisition Analyst.
• Location : Pentagon, Arlington, VA (100% onsite)
• Travel : Minimal.
• Security Clearance : Secret.

Position Requirements :

• The FDV SSO shall support Army Aviation programs. Must have operational experience in Army aviation units from company to brigade level and must be familiar with the types of equipment used in aviation units.
• Rotary Wing (Helicopter) Pilot required.
• FDV SSO should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage Army Acquisition Category (ACAT) II and III Programs.

Roles and responsibilities :

• Provide analysis and recommendations in support of validation, prioritization, and approval of future requirements, including validation of Army JCIDS documents in support of the AROC or JROC process.
• Manage the Army Aviation programming and budgeting process.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Army Force Development / Force Management / Acquisition / Requirements Development experience.
• Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA) or equivalent level experience.
• Equipment Readiness experience at Battalion or equivalent level (Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force).
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred :

• 8 years of Department of Defence (DOD) Force Development experience.
• Experience with Pentagon / DOD staff or acquisition assignments.
• Army Force Management School Courses: How The Army Runs (HTAR), FA50, FA51, SSO.
