Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Product Control Senior Associate to join the Hedging Product Control team within the Treasury/Chief Investment Office. The role focuses on supporting hedging activities, ensuring accurate valuation, and maintaining hedge accounting and reporting controls.

You will work with front, middle, technology teams and policy to manage fixed income hedges and participate in new hedging strategy implementations, with opportunities to contribute to ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience within a financial institution/markets environment and/or public accounting.
• Working knowledge of fixed income and rates products (e.g., interest rate swaps, government/agency bonds, securitized products).
• Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to stakeholders.
• High motivation, desire to learn, and ability to quickly climb the learning curve.
• Ability to manage tight timelines, prioritize effectively, and maintain high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interest rate risk hedging analytics support: explain hedge drivers and produce analyses for senior management.
• Ensure accurate valuation, booking, P&L attribution for hedging activities and hedge accounting maintenance.
• Oversight of hedging related financial reporting, controls and documentation.
• Partner with Technology to streamline end-to-end processes via automation and workflow redesign.
• Implementation of new hedging strategies.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and other analytical requests.
