Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Our client is a multi-billion dollar hedge fund that is looking to add an experienced hedge fund accountant to their dynamic and high performing accounting team. They are looking for someone who is a self-starter and is eager to learn more about the alternative investment space. The Senior Hedge Fund Accountant will play a significant role in tax operations, fund administration, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of daily NAV calculations
• Perform daily position and cash reconciliations
• Daily interaction with prime brokers to resolve account differences
• Investigate and record corporate actions, dividends, financing costs as well as other expenses
• Calculate management fee and incentive fee
• Assist year-end audit process in collaboration with auditors and the administrator
• Assist with compliance filings including but not limited to ADV, Form PF, 13F, 13H, FAR, Form D, and NFA exemptions.
• Assist with performance analytics and investor reporting
• Assist with compliance related matters
• Work closely with the accounting team on projects that include system and reporting implementation
• Assist with completing due diligence questionnaires

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in hedge fund, asset management, or partnership tax (public or in-house)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST strongly preferred
• Advanced understanding of hedge fund structures, master-feeder arrangements, blocker entities, and relevant tax considerations
• Proficient with tax reporting software, Excel, and fund accounting platforms
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and high-accountability environment
