Job summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction Company in Rincon, GA is seeking a journeyman level Rigger to move heavy equipment and materials using cranes and lifts. You will identify rigging procedures, select gear, and ensure safe operation on site, often under outdoor conditions and long shifts.

A minimum of four years of heavy industrial rigging experience and NCCCO Rigger Level 1 or NCCER Rigging Intermediate certification are required.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Rigger.
• Certification of NCCCO Rigger Level 1 or NCCER Rigging Intermediate must be possessed.
• Must be able to complete pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Move extra-heavy equipment, machinery, and materials with cranes and lifts.
• Identify and use advanced rigging procedures and equipment.
• Locate materials to be moved and secure them per safety guidelines.
• Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, slings, chokers, and shackles by load size.
• Understand weight limits of rigging gear and perform load calculations.
• Follow pre-lift checklists and assist operator with lift plans.
• Use hand signals proficiently.
