Job summary

GrayWolf Industrial, Inc. in Lebanon, IN is seeking a journeyman-level Rigger to move extra-heavy equipment and materials using cranes and lifts.

This full-time role requires safe rigging procedures, attention to load limits, and strong communication with crane operators and crew. Candidates must have at least 4 years of heavy industrial field experience and NCCCO Rigger Level 1 or NCCER Rigging Intermediate certification, plus OSHA 10 within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Rigger.
• Certification required: NCCCO Rigger Level 1 or NCCER Rigging Intermediate.
• Must have locking toolbox and tools.
• Must be able to complete all pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely identify and use advanced rigging procedures and equipment.
• Locate needed material or equipment to be moved by lift and secure those materials following safety guidelines.
• Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, shackles according to load size and weight.
• Understand weight limits of rigging hardware ( chokers, shackles, pulleys, winches, blocks, cables ).
• Communicate and work cooperatively with all personnel; perform load calculations.
• Complete pre-lift checklists and assist operator with lift plans.
• Proficient in the use of hand signals.
