Qualifications

• Five years of experience operating heavy equipment including front-end loaders, graders, backhoes, bulldozers, trenchers or similar.
• Arizona Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement required (valid at time of appointment).
• Substitutions: vocational/technical program may replace six months of experience; relevant education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment in a wastewater treatment facility to maintain and transport waste.
• Haul waste material to landfill and assist in sludge removal and disposal.
• Perform minor repairs and servicing on machinery and load/unload materials.
• Maintain drying beds and operate associated equipment to ensure even drying.
