Job summary

Gregory Poole seeks a Certified Operator Instructor II to develop and deliver heavy equipment training for customers and to prepare training quotes. The role includes on-site instruction, simulator demonstrations, and performance reporting, with travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time.

Required are a high school diploma (associate/bachelor preferred) and 2-5+ years in equipment operation plus 2-4+ years training others. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-5+ years of equipment operational experience.
• 2-4+ years' experience training others on equipment operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer sites.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct technical training on heavy equipment for GP customers.
• Lead operator safety and machine operation training using outlines and texts.
• Haul and operate simulator trailer for on-site training events.
• Instruct and assess students, administer exams, and report performance.
• Identify training needs and market the total training package to customers.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain equipment and materials.
