Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks an experienced Equipment Trainer to deliver hands-on and classroom training for heavy construction equipment across field sites. You will evaluate operator performance, authorize qualifications, and maintain training records to uphold safety and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years operating heavy equipment, strong teaching skills, and knowledge of safety standards. OSHA or trainer certifications are preferred, and High School diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Strong ability to teach and mentor equipment operators in field environments.
• Experience training, coaching, or leading others is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on and classroom training for employees operating construction equipment.
• Train and authorize operators on safe operating procedures and company policies.
• Provide instruction on inspection, startup, maintenance, operation, shutdown, and care procedures.
• Develop refresher training and corrective coaching as needed.
• Conduct operator assessments and certify operators to standards.
• Maintain operator qualification, authorization, and training records.
• Oversee equipment training audits and daily vehicle inspection procedures.
