Job summary

WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator III for its Felda landfill in Florida. This role offers stable hours Monday–Friday, 6:20am to 4pm, with every other Saturday 6:20am to 12pm and comprehensive benefits supporting you and your family.

You will operate heavy equipment safely, perform inspections, move materials, follow SOPs, and support team goals. Applicants must have 5 years of experience, be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and pass pre-employment drug screen and a physical.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
