Job summary

Janke General Contractors, Inc is seeking mid to senior level Heavy Equipment Operators to work with our crews across Wisconsin on bridges, dams, boat ramps, roads and boardwalks. The role involves operating Tier 4 heavy machinery, mentoring tiers 1-3, and coordinating with senior site teams to optimize deployment and safety.

Per diems of $100.00/day for locations over 30 miles from the Athens WI office are offered, along with company-paid health, life, disability, dental and vision insurance,

Qualifications

Required: OSHA certification and heavy equipment operation expertise.
Experience leading and training Tier 1-3 operators.
Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned heavy equipment efficiently.
Lead, mentor, and oversee Tier 1-3 operators.
Load and transport materials and equipment when needed.
Perform daily inspections and coordinate with maintenance.
Follow OSHA and site safety protocols and participate in audits.
Maintain logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
